Dear Sir

I send you this mail for the following purpose. I ham a freelance aircraft photographer and journalist and do work on a regularly base with the national aeronautical and space museum here in Santiago de Chile.

I have made already 2 articles for the annual magazine of the museum and my project for the next year issue is an article on the MFI-9 junior used in the Biaffra war and his Bolkow counterpart used here in Chile in the fire fighting control with ASPAR in the years 1985 to 1996. It is the only one on the Chilean CC-... register and is still flying today. For what I have for the moment the aircraft is c/n 622,bought by a mr Eduardo Rubio Guarderan on November 11, 1966 trough bill contract n°106041 and registered as CC-PBP on 29/02/1968. What I would like to know is if there is any production list available for this aircraft type and if I could fill in the missing informations. The aircraft apparently had a German registration D-ENAG that could have been the test one before sale to Chile but is there any explanation for such a long period between the date the airplane was bough and the same one being registered in Chile (15 month)

I send you a few pictures I have of the aircraft and if you want a full detail of the different owners and registration I'm willing to send them to you. I am in contact with the actual owner of the aircraft and hope to have a meeting in the near future for access to the log books of the aircraft.

Habe vor kurzem  ein Boelkow Junior  Seriennummer 622c erstanden. Anbei 2 Bilder vom Bolkow. Wie gesagt Baujahr 1966, im Ganzen 3000 Stunden, Seriennummer 622 in meinem Besitz seit November 2003.  Neue Plexihaube wird hier hergestellt. Polikarbonat. Neu Gestrichen wird  auch. Gleiche Farben.
